FIGHTING AT RHODESDRIFT.
The Rhodesian Horse, whose head quarters were formerly at Bulawayo, have closed in upoa the Cransvaal from the north.
Under Lieu.-Colonel Plainer they engaged a force of Boers at Rhodesdrift, on the Limpopo river. Seven >f the enemy were killed and many ,v»unded.
Information has been receive! from the North to the effect that a Boer commando id threatening Khama's Country — territory on the western side of Bulawayo railway in he soutih-west of Maiabeleland, held by the famous Baraangwato chief. Kharaa holds his land under the protection of the Queen. Anothf-r battery and a half of field :'.?ii:!cvy has just bean landed at Capetown.
