Nominations for all events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Haok Hurdle Handicap and Electric Hack (second day), dose with tbe Secretary at Foston on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th January, 1900. Acceptances for firat day's races dose on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Haok Race (first day), and Electric Haok (seoond day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Hand?cap (second day), dose on TUEBDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for seoond day's races will be deolared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition of a Hack.-k Hack means* horse that has not won a raoe of the value of 80 soys, or races of the oolleotiva value of 150 sovs since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised race exceeding the net sum or value o 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted) Every entry must stale tbe name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and descript on of the horse, together with the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances.
