Nominations for alt events, except Maiden Hack Race (first day), and Maiden Hack Hurdle Handicap and Eleotrio Hack (second day), olose with the Seoretary at Koxton on THURSDAY, January 4th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for first day's races will be declared on or about 12th Jannary, 1900. Acceptances for firat day's raoes close on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Entries for Maiden Haok Race (first day), and Electric Hack (second day), and nominations for Maiden Hack Hurdle Handioap (second day), olose on TUESDAY, January 16th, 1900, at 9 p.m. Weights for second day's raceß will be declared on Saturday, January 20th, 1900, at 8 p.m. Acceptances close same evening at 9 30 p.m. Definition ofa Hack.- A. Hack means a horse that has not won a race of the value of 80 soys, or races of the collective valne of 150 soys since Ist August, 1899, and has never won an advertised race exoeeding the net sum or value of 40 soys (Hack and Hunter races excepted) Every entry must stale the name, or assumed name of the owner or owners, and the name, age and pedigree and desoript on of the horse, together with the colors of the rider. The advertised fee must in every case accompany nominations and acceptances.
