Messrs P. R. Jackson aofl Co., ill conjunction with Messrs Abraham and William*, report as to their £ Johnsonville stock sale :—

A full supply of beef, consisting mainly of medium-weight bullocks and good cows and heifers. Bold freely, a total clearance b< ing effected at prices ranging from 17s 6d to 18a 6d for prime quality, &Q occasional pen making up to to 193. Oow beef made 143 to 15* per 100 lbs. A large entry of sheep were about . 13 J. per head cheaper than last weeir. ™ The wethers entered were of in* different quality, only the few lambs entered were small, but of nice quality. A heavy yarding of pigs sold irregularly, best porkers making equal to 4d per Ib, but choppers and large stores brought lower quotations. Quotations: — Prime heavy bullocks, £7 10s to £8 2" 6d ; medium weight, £6 10a tn £7 10* ; indifferent bullocks, £5 10' to £6 ; bftst oowa, £1 15s to £5 7d 63 ; others, £4 to £4 10 ; beifera £4 to £4 2s 6d ; cow* in milk, £8 ; graall h-Mfera, in calf, £2 Is ; store oows, 80s. Sheep -Wethers, 133 to Us;
