Hooper's Colossophone.

A striking ncrvety in the way of entertainments is promised by Mr Harry Hooper at the Victoria Hall Foxton on Saturday and Monday evenings next. In addition ta the colossophone which reproduces loudly, deafly, and without metallic vibration, a carefullyselected vaudeville company of leading Australian artistes has been specially engaged for the. tour* First on the list come Mr Sid Doody and Miss Edie Wright, whose stage partnership under a recent engagement with Mr Harry Rickards brought them into great favour. As eccentric dancers they are particularly clever and soon make their way into the good graces of their audience. Miss Belle Solomon, recently of the Bijou Theatre, Melbourne, has a high reputation for graceful dancing and vocalisation. Mr Harry Hooper is an accomplished character artist, and Miss Daisy Trevitt is a really talented pianiste. This is the first tour of the company in New Zealand, and, in addition to this, their turns have the great charm of being new. The company has lately finished a successful season at Wellington, where the entertainment was highly spoken of by the Wellington journals. In other exchanges it is also said to be superior to anything yet shown, so that the Foxton people have an opportunity they should not miss of witnessing something new and novel.
