To- night the Foresters hold a Social at the Victoria Hall when a very pleasant evening may be passed 4 as not only will there be" a progressive euchre for which there are four prizes bat there will be an excellm" musical entertainment in which some of oar best amateurs will take part. The programme is not published but we notice upon it a trio, which promises i to ba a tine it'm, a du^t between two ladies which i* bound to be ippreoiated, and a comic by one who has not beep heard in that line in this town, and tha Brass band will also give some of their good musical selection*. Kefresbujents will be supplied free and the caterers, Messrs Perreau Bros, are a guarant?e that they will '' be a' l thit oan be desired.
