Weights for the second day will be declared at 8 p.m. on October llih, and acceptances at 9 o'clock the same evening. The Stewards reserve the right to alter the dn'e of receiving nominations, deolaration of weights, or acceptances, as they may def m fit, subject to the approval of the Metropolitan Club. Back means a horse that has never won an advertised race exceeding 40 soys in value (hack or hunter racss excepted), or ia not engaged in other than hack or hunter events at time of entry or at time of starting.
