Soudan Tragedy.
Farther detaili hive been received of the deaths of Colonel Elobb and Lieutenant Meunier in the French Soudan. It appears that they were catching up to the force under Captains Voulet and Chanoine. They were to arrest those officers for brutality to the natives. Voulet ordered a fusilade to be opened on the pursuers, by which both of them w<>re killed, Voulet and Chanoine have taken refuge in the bush./ ■> " ,~ ;.-. A French mission under M. Foureau and Colonel' Laing has started in pursuit. The tragedy has caused much pain in Fiance, and. the hope if expressed that it is the outcome of tnadaesß, due to the heat of the tropics.
