Sensation at Makaretu.
A SUCCESSFUL VENTURE/
There is little, if any, exaggeration In all that has been written sod said of late about the hard times experienced as the result of a suooession of bad seasons, tightness, of the money market, etc. We find a few short years have brought about an evolution aaL unappreciated <M~k'unexpected "In the good old days," we are tod, " one could not help malting money ; everything tared to gold." Bat now that times are so bad, and what was tha^rule formerly is the exception, it comes as a relief and pleasure to hear of a successful venture.
