At a general meeting of the New Zealand Pola Association it was decided that the standard height of polo ponies in New Zealand be raised to 14 hands 1 inch in place of the existing height of 14 hands; that the best willow balls be adopted by the association at the tournament in place of the root balls used at present ; that all ponies at present on the register or entitled to be on the register, shall be deemed to be passed without the necessity of being re-measured; the copies of the revised rules about the measurement of ponies be sent to clubs for their information pending publication of revised rules ; and that the secretary make arrangements with some firm to obtain an immediate supply qf 1000 willow balls irom J. Salter, Aldershot.
