A Te Horo Garden. * Very few gardens about Te Horo are prettier or better kept than that of Mr Percy Gillies. Mr Evan Evan3 acted as ■gardent-r and milker for t is gentleman, and is respon-ib'e for much of the neatness and order. Speaking of gardening Mr Evans told an Olaki Mail reporter that it was only of recent years that he was able to bring all his activities to play in gardening. For 30 years he said he had been troubled with chronic rheumatism, and latter on with rheumatic sciatica. The gnawing, aching pains commenced in the left hip joint, and soon spread right down the left hip to the foot. He fv t as if he were just be'ng flayed alive. He had to take to his bed as he was quite useless — fit for nothing. He cou!d obtain no sleep, because the pain was too acute to allow him to rest. Ointments, liniments and plasters were tried upon him, but only gave him a little temporary relief. Bis case seemed hope'ess, At this stage Dr Wi Hams' \ iok pills were brought under his notioe. After consideration he decided to try them. Now he says it was the luckiest choice of his life. He sent to Wellington for sis boxes of the pills, and commenced taking them strictly according to directions. Two boxes did not improve him greatly, but when he had used four boxes the benefit he had obtained was wonderful. He marvelled at the efficacy of this medicine. It took several boxes more to cure him comp'etely, because his case had been more or le=s chronic for 30 years, and when a man has suffered for 30 years he is not easily cured ; but now he says he has much pleasure in allowing his testimony to be published. His case had baffled many, and he regards it as one of the greatest triumphs in medicine which have been at'ained in New Zealand, although Dr Williams' pink pills have cured many others in New Zealand, and one or two even worse than Mr Evans. Mr Evani will always be pleased to answer any questions to any inquirer regarding his case. He can quite believe that Dr Williams' pink pills are also good for pleurisy, neuralgia, lumbago, consumption, asthma, bronchitis, chroaio headaches, ladies' ailments, loss of vital strength, and other complaints. They are sold by chemists and storekeepers, and by the Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington, price three shillings a box, six boxes sixteen and sixpence. Be sure you get the genuine, with nil seven words— Dr Williams' pink pills for pale people— printed in red ink on the outside wrapper, These are the sort which oared Mr Evans. > THE MAN [ WHO LAUGHS ' ■ Is the fortunate individual who I tkeps soundly, and for whom "good j I digestion waits on appetite**! ! 1 \ 111 \ m I Cheerfulness, sound sleep and perfect < f digestion ate always attainable by 1 I linking ' I WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS If you have "that tired feeling" ' about you that makes you depressed < and gloomy, caused probably by the I liver and kidneys being a little out ' of gear, try WOLFE'S SCHNAPPS ' ' a pleasant tonic beverage* \ As!; for -WOLFE'S and refuse \ cheap imitations.
