American Railway Strikes.
The strike of railway employees lately reported as having occurred on the Brooklyn- New York lines has collapsed. Another strike has developed at Clevelaad, Ohio, on the south shore of Lake Erie, and is accompanied by outrages such as were reported last week from Brooklyn.
Dynamite was exploded under a street-car, with the result that fourteen passengers were injured, four of them seriously.
The mob has got beyond the control of the police, and ball cartridge has been issued to the local militia.
