Overdue Waikato.

The anxiety felt in the colonies in reference to the steamer Waikato, which ia now overdue on her voyage from London to Port Chalmers, is shared in shipping circles in London The vessel has not been spoken since she touched at Teneriffe early in May. The New Zealand Shipping Company has requested the Admiralty authorities to have a search made of the Crozet Islands, situated in .the Southern Ocean, near the track of colonial-trading steamers.

The steamer Awarua has sailed for the Snares to search for the overdue steamer Waikato.
