P'on the South — A coach leaves Whyte's Hotel every morning at 5.30 a.m. for Shannon, connecting with the down train to OtaJri and Wellington. The coach also connects with the up < train frcia Wellington. The a.s. Queen of the South leaves the Foxton wharf for Wellington on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays, circumstances permitting.
