Antarctic Exploration.

With the present revival of interest in Antarctic exp'.orrtion, ii seems highly probable that the two expeditions which are now bting busily pushed forward will be brought to successful conclusions. Last year Sir Clements Markham. waa very energetic in appealing foi funds for a An' arcMc expedition, and the Admiralty were appmashed on the subject with the object of get. ting the Navy to co-operate in th> work.
