Foxton State School.
Yesterday afternoon the Rev. W. Woollass chairman of Committee and Messrs? Hennessy and Spelman attended the school to present the prizes won at the last examination. Mr Wooilass addressed the scholars, and the nsual compliments were' passed to Chairman, Committee, teachers &c. Following are the results :— Standard V, — Boys : Lewis Cozens, i ; Percy Jenks, 2. Girls : Ida Robinsin, 1 ; Emily Cozens, 2. Standard IV.— Boys : Thomas Staff, 1 ; Laurie O'Brien, 2 ; Walter Cook, 3. Girls : Bertha Jukes, 1 ; Hetty Morley, 2. Standard III.— Boys: Fred. Robinson, 1; William Morton, 2; Arthur Overend, j 3. Girls: Mprea Alzdorf, 1 ; -Adelaide Blake, 2. Standard II.— Boys : James Cooke, 1 ; Stanley Osborne and Bertie Westwood, equal. Girls: Connie Overend, Cissie Morton and Eva Staff, equal. Standard I.— Boys: Eric Gray, 1; John Hennessy, 2. Girls : Ethel Coley, 1 ; Hilda Cook and Ethel Simmonds, equal.
