Messrs Abraham and Williams report as follows : — This week we have held sales at Shannon, Pahiatua and Palraerston. At Pulraersfon we had a full yard. ing of sheep, far more than the advtirtiged number coming forward. The entry oonsisted ohiefly of empty ewes and lambi which were rather duller of sale than usual, and the bidding wa3 not at all brUk. Good wethers and fat ewes went off well. On'y a pmall entry of cattle came forward. Palmerston —Forward wethers, 18 ■ 5d ; 2 and 4 tooth wether?, 12s 7d to 12s 9d ; 2 tooth wethers, 10* Id t" 12* 3d ; fat pwes, 12< li; forward ewes, 9s to 9->ld ; empty ewe I',1 ', 6< 91 to 7a 91 ; store ewes, 8* 9J to 4s 61 ; empty 2 tooth ewes', 8< ; lamb*. 6rto 6*91; cull?, 8* to 5-<. Cittle — Forward bullocks, £5 ; 8 year bullocks, £4 23 61 ; fresh 18 months steers, 3>2 13 <; weantrp, 19< ; 2£ year steers, £2 4 J , Pigs - Porkers. 16« to il ; slip?, 12s 6d; weaners, Ba6d.
