Dv Paty de Clam was arrested on the charge of complicity with th* late Colonel Henry (tbe officer wh* committed suicide after arrest it bringing about th 9 forgery of th bordereau. The Ciart of Cassation wa unanimous in its judgment in favou of revision.
In referring to tbe Dreyfus caie and tbe decision of the Court, M. Loubet, the President, has declared thas he will firmly enforce the authority plaoed in his hands. The French cruiser Sfaz will bring Dreyfus to France. Since his return to Paris from his exile in England, M. Zola, the famous novelist, has challenged tk-. authorities to arrest hira under thV* sentence passed upon bim last year for writing his famous " J' Accuse " article in the ••'Aurore" uewspaper critic : sing the action of the First Council of War in the Dreyfus case. M. Zola declares that unless an awein»piring fx imple is made ojf tbe guilty parties in high places in connection with the Dreyfus oase the masses will not believe what aD immense amonnt of crime has takon plaoe. Tbe Cabinet has deoided to prosecute E.terhazy for procuring and using portions of the seoret dossier. As General Mercier expected io give evidence before the Judges at Rennes whers the new trial is to take place, the Chamber deoided to c insider the matter after the verdict of the trial at R-annes .has been given.
