Strange Death of a Schoolboy.

An inquest was held at Dunedin nn Monday touching the death of Win. Joseph Green, a schoolboy nine years of Bga. The boy went to school on Thursday morning, and while playing with others going along the street had a fall. He was aont home by hi 3 teacher about an hour later, as he did not appear well and on reaching his uncle's house was put to bad. Next morning he appeared so ill that medical advice was procured. The boy was almost line his Mnu^, and he died in the afternoon. The medical men were uncertain as to whether he died of blood poisoning or of internal injury. A post mortem showed that the basis of the lung 3 had been congested, and pus was found in the large intestine. The cause of death was septic enteritis, with commencing pneumonia.

A verdict to that effect wag returned.
