WAITOHI, SANDON AND RANGITIKEI CLUBS v. FOXTON. Thi3 match, which had bepn . postponed from the previous Satur- jpi day owing to the unfavourable) ' weather, was played on Saturday at Fox ton, and resulted in a win for the local players, by nine games to four, 57 points. The games were all interesting, and some of them very hardly contested, as the subjoined coores show. The weather was simply splendid for tennis, and throughout the day everything went as " merry as a marriage bell." The visitors ware entertained by the locat dub at Whyte's Hotel, and the dinner well sustained the reputation of the proprietor.
