The games were all interesting, and some of them very hardly contested, as the subjoined coores show. The weather was simply splendid for tennis, and throughout the day everything went as " merry as a marriage bell." The visitors ware entertained by the locat dub at Whyte's Hotel, and the dinner well sustained the reputation of the proprietor.
