THIS. DAY. (Before E. S. Thynne and Alf Fraser, t Esqrs., J.s P. , Arthur Staodeh was brought up on remand charged with having in decently assaulted one Violet Nye, a girl under 16 years of age, on Wednesday evening. She had a baby , boy of four years old with her. On j the road a man caught her up carry- ( ing a swag and after some cod versa- ■ tion the man placed his hand on her j leg up her clothes. She said " Oh, don't do that," and he then quickly '■ went away. She waited and told | her mother who was fallowing, what had occurred. Mrs Kye then told , ;he constable.
