The Wiroking Bridge.
AN ACCOMPLISHED FACT. A TENDER ACCEPTED. To-day His Worship the Mayor, in conjunction with Mr Fulton, the engineer, opened in Wellington the tenders received for the erection of the traffic bridge over the Manawatu river, m V/irokiao. Four tenders were received, three of which were below the estimate of the engineer. One tender has been accepted, but the name of the tenderer and the price cannot be published until the contract is signed, which may be this afternoon. This news will be received with very much satisfaction by all.
