Sheep -Dipping Made Easy.

Row sheep dipping may be roade easy has been demonstrated at Ocekaike, where a simple contrivance filiating operations bas been a| work during the past few days. This, B ays the " Oamaru Mail,'* is the invention of Mr Cobden, blacksmith on the station, by whom, with some little assistance from Mr Stephenson, of Duntroon, it has been constructed. 1 1 consists of a revolving platform*, ninety feet in circumference, placed '. pkt the end of the run from the -sh^ep pens. It is claimed that the invention enables the work of dipping sheep to be performed more expeditiously than by^ the old method, and that it effects a saving of labour and ia much easier on the sheep. But it is, nevertheless, oapable of putting through 15,000 sbeep per day, and on Tuesday morn ing the tally for two hour3 was 2600.
