Foxton Dramatio Club.
By an advertisement in another column it will be noticed that the Foxton Dramatic Club hold a meeting next Friday evening at the Foxton Public Hall at 8 o'clock. We understand that the Club has had several requests made to give a performance in Levin, and have been promised a good house should they consent to do so, and it is ntore than probable they will visit Levin during the full moon next month, and stage the two pieces lately played in this town, viz., " My Wife's Mother-in-law " and " The Result of a Morning Dip." The success which has attended the efforts of the performers here is deserving of praise, and the support our Levin friends are likely to give the visitors is no more than they deserve. The members will also consider the proposal to put in rehearsal a three-act comedy for the next performance by the Club.
