A Strange Wedding.
Perhaps the strangest marriage ceremony ever recorded is the recen marriage of G. W. Miller, the dua winner of two American six day? contests, held in New York, U.S. A. Mill«r war married publicly on thn Madison Square track in the presenc. of 5,000 spectator?. At, the time hr bad covered come 1,975 miles and h*d a lead of close on twenty mile? wi'b only an hour or so to ride, bo that his vicory was assured. All contestants stopped riding in honour of the occasion whilst the ceremony was being performed, Miller hemp married in his full racing cofuump just an he stepped off bis machine for a pp'U. six dvjrs' go-^s-you-pleaae, or aa averaga of 14 miles an hour for 144 hours, a marvellous endurance. It is roughly estimated that bis winnings over this event will total close upon £750, so that the plucky Chicago rider will have a nice little cheque to go honeymooning on.
