Primitive Methodist Church.

HARVEST THANKSGIVING. The harvest thanksgiving services in connection with this Church were held on Sunday, when Rev. Mr Woollass occupied the pulpit. The Church had . been very tastefully decorated with i ;» -evergreens, and a motto "Thou Crownest The Earth With Thy Goodness" attracted attention. Special mention must be made of the splendid collection of fruits and vegetables which had been nicely

arranged in front of the rostrum. An afternoon service was conducted by Mrs Woollass, and was listened to with marked attention. On Monday evening a fruit banquet, interspersed with songs, recitations and speeches was given, ./hen a very pleasant evening was spent, and at the close the fruits, vegetables, etc., were disposed of.
