Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of the Foxton Borough Council, held on Tuesday, the 17;h day of January. 1899, it was resolved : — That it is the intention of the Foxton Borough Council, by virtue of the provisions of the Lo<ml Bodies Loan 3 Act, 1886, and by virture of Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in term of Section 113 of the Public Works Acfc, 1894, dated 14th day of Novtmber 1898, authorising the Construction of a Traffic B.Mp.e over- the Manawatu River at Wirokino, at the plaea where the Main road from the Township of Levin to the Borough of Foxton crosses the said river, and ap. portioning the cost of such work, to ■ Borrow the Sum of Ono Thousand j Pounds Sterling (£1000) under the j Governmpnt Loans to Local Bodies | Act, 1886, for the purpose of pro. viding proportion of the coat of constructing the said Bridge, and px» pen?es in connection therewith.
