Wedding.
WALSH— HOWAN. A very pretty wedding took place at the residence of Mr Samuel Howan yesterday, when Mr A. S. Walsh was united in the bonds of wedlock to Miss J. Howan. The bride was attired in a beautiful cream bridal dress, with veil and orange blossoms and a bouquet of rose buds and maiden hair fern and looked charming. The bridesmaids were Miss Ethel and Emma Howan and the best man Mr J. Howan. The front of the house was decorated very prettily and the room where the ceremony was performed was very nicely arranged, a beautiful arch having been fixed up and a table arranged for the minister to stand behind, which gave the appearance of a church a'tar. The bride wan given away by her father, and the Rev. W. Woollass performed the ceremony. Afternoon tea was sewed on the lawb and very mucb enjoyed by all present, after which the newly married couple left for their home amidst showers of rice and good wishes from their friends.
