The harvest thanksgiving service at All pints' Church on Tuesday night was well ttended. Through the unavoidable absnoe of the Rev. Mr Hunt, the service &<* »-. ducted by Rev. Mr H. S. Leachrffc •-■ aohed an eloquent and appropriate sercnon. Through the unsettled state of the weaher and on account of the river at Oroua oeing bank high, several flaxmUla in that vicinity have wagei working for a time.
