Notice is hereby given that at a Special Meeting of tha Foxton Borough Council, held on | Tuesday, the 17th day of January, 1899, it was resolved : — That it is the intention of the Foxton Borough Council, by virtue of the provisions of the Local Bodies Loan 3 Act, 1886, and by virture of Warrant issued under the hand of His Excellency the Governor, in term of Section 118 of the Public 'Works Act, 1894, dated 14th day of November 1898, authorising the Construction of a Traffio Bridge over the Manawatu River at Wirokino, at the place where the Main road from the Township of Levin to the Borough of Foxton crosses the said river, and apportioning the cost of such work, to Borrow the Sum of One Thousand Pounds Sterling (£1000) under the Government Loans to Local Bodies Act, 1886, for the purpose of providing proportion of the cost of con- j sfructing the said Bridge, and txpensea in connection therewith.
