A Jealous Husband.
The Paris correspondent of tha Morning Post; relates a distressing oragedy, in which the heroine was a young and beautiful girl, married only a few day bpfore. Madame Charles Ducres was 20 years of age, and belonged to an excellent family. She made her future husband's acquaintance at a ball, and the couple immediately fell in love with nne another. In due course thpy married, and were passing their hnnpymnon in the Rue de Vincennps when M. Charles Ducren, lying awake one night, heard his wife raurmer in h°r sleep " Ob, how I !ove you, Lucien ! " Next morning he asked for an explanation. This was at first refused, but finally Madame Ducres confessed to having , once had a iove intrigue with a j voting man named Lucien Roger, j The jealous husband forced his wif j to make a written confession and declared that be could no longer entertain the slightest affection for her. The next night he was awakened by the report of a revolver, ' and found his wife lying dead in the dining room. Madame Ducres had committed suicide.
