Major Esterbazy, who has been prominently connected with the Dreyfus case, is said to have abandoned his intended action for libel against the London " Observer," in connection with the statements pub lished by that journal with reference to his alleged visit to London and his confessions bearing on the case. The Parisian police authorties have discovered the existence of an extensive organisation for the sale of French arms and ammunition to foreign Powers. The Paris correspondent of the Times says that M. de Freycinet, Minister for War, withholds the ultra-secret do3sier, which was not shown to the court martial, on the ground that it dies not aff ct the Dreyfu3 case.
