• Captain Edwin wires to-day: — Wind strong from between N.E. and N. and W. at all places North of Napier and New Plymouth, and from between W. and S.W. and S. at all other places. Barometer farther fall at all places north of East Cape Taupb and New Plymouth, rise slow y from thence southward. Sea heavy on Western Coast north of \\ estport and on East Coast south of East Cape. Tides high on Western Coasc north of Cape Egmont, low from thence to Foxton ; moderate south of Westport, good on East Coast south of East Cape. Moderate elsewhere.
