Captain Edwin wires to-day: — Wind Gale between N.E. and N. and W. with rain at all places northward of Napier, Taupo and Raglan, and from between N. and E. and S.E. from thence southward. Barometer fall at all places N. of Napier, Taupo and Raglan, rise but falling again after 12 hours e'sewhere. Sea heavy on all Western coast N. of Westport and on all East coast S. of Napier. Tides high on West coast N. of Westport and on East coasts S. of Napier and northward of East Cape.
