Captain Edwin wires to-day:— Wind —Heavy gale from between North-east and North and West at all places, and with rain. Barometer fall everywhere. Sea very heavy on all Western Coast, aUo on East Coast southward of Napier and north of East Cape. Tides unusually high on both coasts.
