Five more of the Moslems implicated in the attack that was made on the British forces in Candia on Bth September last — when they were engaged in installing the Christian collector at the " dime " or Customhouse of Candia, and were fired upon with heavy loss of life— have been executed.
It ia stated that Turkish officers appropriated the loot obtained by the soldiers during the rising.
The Turkish authority in Crete ceases on Friday.
