Captain Edwin wires to-day:— Wind gales from between North-east and North and West soon at all places Northward of Thames and Manakau' Strong West to Sou'h-west and Sonth wind 9 during next 10 hours everywhere else, but changing to beiween Northeast and North and West gale after that time. Barometer fall at all p aces ivorth of Thames and Manakau ; riße everywhere else, bat falling again after 10 bouts. Sea heavy on. Western Coast North of Westport considerable from the ace Southward; sea heavy on East Const, north of East Cape, mdderate all other places. Tides high on West Coast North of Cape Egmont, and between Weaiport and Nelson, aslo on East Coast North of Eat Cape good at all other places. Bain is probable generally.
