He is one of the cleverest horses on his feet travelling. He can walk five miles an hour. As a foal getter he seldom fails to leave his mark. The Governor is by that far famed horse Prince Victor, the noted prize winner. Prince Victor is by the great bor^e Young Scotchman, imp. The Governor's dam is a daughter of the noted horae Sir William Wallace, imp. (never beaten in the ring).
