He ia one of the cleverest horses on his feet travelling. He can walk five miles an hour. As a foal getter he seldom fails to leave his mark. The Governor is by that far famed horse Prince Victor, the noted prize winner. Prince Victor is by the great horse Young Scotchman, imp. The Governor's dam is a daughter of the noted horse Sir William Wallace, imp. (never beaten in the ring).
