Our m Year of Publication. SINCE purchasing t,he Manawatu Herald in 1889, it haß been the aim of the management to keep the paper in advance with the times. Thus thn Manawatu Herald, which was then published bi-weekly at the price of threepence was issued in 1890 at < a triweekly, and the price per cop;/ reduced to twopence.
