♦.. ■ , . A meeting of the above Council was held on Tuesday evening. Present Crs. Hennessy (in the chair) Rhodes, Easton, Fraser and Purcell. The following tenders were received for fencing the Reserve No, 477. Martin and Chamberlain ss, 7s and 10s, per chain for the various divisions, D. Williamson Bs', 6s, and 15s. E. Coley ; 5s 6d, 4s 6d, and gs.. W..8. i Bett's tender informal. - It was resolved, That the tender of Messrs Chamberlain and Martin for fencing 84 chains at 5s per chain on Reserve 477 be -accepted according to specification and that a penalty of 5s per day be enforced for every day over the contract time of 14 days.
