Last week was issued Hansard No. 17 illustrated by order of the Minister of Lands and in direct con. flicfc with precedence, Thia number might hav^been noted for this curious departure, but it will be more sought after for others reasons, as from it the public will learn the pleasing opinions members of par liament hold of one another, for in this number are the speeches of Mes3rs George Hutchison, T. Taylor, George Fisher, and F. Pirani. Thes« speeches though purporting to be n true report of what they said, can only be a portion and that very much onlled down to suit the ears of the public outside the House, a 9 th<> Pott distinctly stated that the language used by some of the members was not produceable in a newspaper. This Mansard we commend to th-> study of our readers as they will better gain an insight into the decadence of parliamentary life by its perusal than by any other means, only, to get a better grip of the matter it must not be lost sight of that a lot of warm language has been deleted. We do not pretend to reproduce any portion of the arguments but cull therefrom the following
