A Queensland Reminiscence.
c ♦ p An interesting reminiscence gives f pleasure not only to the hearer, but also to B the one recounting it. Many interesting reminiscences can b» told of early days, early s niggles and subsequent triumphs by old co'onists. Mrs Enibb, of Earle Street, Toowong, Queensland, has had some most interesting experiences although fortunately all her troubles have now been overcome. Her reminiscences date back twelve years s ago. "At that time," she told a press ! representative, " I met with a bad accident. 3 As a result, my thigh bone was broken, and, since that time I have suffered a ' great deal. I lost the sight of my left eye r mainly through tha disease, and even > after treatment of it was over, I suffered ) from grt-at pain across the bone over the r eye. Last Christmas twelve months I was" t so bad that I could scarcely move in bed. t I had io go to the h- spital after being , treated for a long time by the doctors ; but , after coming out again I suffpred just the same. If I did a little washing in the day time I could scarcely turn in bed at night, and duri g westerly winds
I was always laid up. A little while ago I read of the cures effected by Dr Wil iams' Pink Pills for Pa!e People, but I was doubtful about them. One of my famiJy however, said the cases reported m.st be genuine, or the people would not dare to print them ; and so I bought a box of the pills and took one after each meal. They gave me some relief, but I still suffered, and I was to!d to take two pi Is after each meal. I did that, and the effect has been wonderfu'. I got rid of the rheumatism, and the pain over my eye has gone. During the recent wester y winds I was up and about, and I snffered no ill effects." " You attribute that to Dr Williams' Pink Pills ?" the interviewer asked. " Yes, indeed," said Mrs Knibb, " I do, and to nothing e'se. I£ it were not for them, I should not be standing ont here talking to you now." It must be understood tha v . Dr Wil'iams' Pink Pills for Pale People are not a patent medicine. They positively cure rheumatism sciatica, lumbago, neuralgia, and influenza's evil after effects, and are a specific for all diseases of ladies, such as anaemia, poor and watery blood, female irregularities, nervous headache and hysteria. They are not a purgative medicine ; they brace up and permanently strengthen (he whole system. They are genuine only with the full name, Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale Pale People, printed in red on the white outside wrapper, and are sold by chemists and storekeepers generally ; or th<* Dr Williams' Medicine Co., Wellington N. Z., will forward, on receipt of stamps or post order, one box for 35., or half-a-dozen for 16s 6d. If the fu I nam9 is not on, you are being defrauded with a spurious imitation.
