Colonel Henry, who figured pro minently in the Dreyfus case, ha? been arrested. He has confessed that he was the author of a letter written in 1896 naming Dreyfus as the author of the famous bordereau. The press is staggered at Colonel Henry's confession of the authorship of the letter, whiph is the one recently read by M. Gavaignac, Minister of War, in the Chamber of Deputies asproofof Captain Dreyfus' guilt. When interrogated in the presence of M. Oavaignac, Bois Deffre and Gourey, Colonel Henry prevaricated, but confessed when directly accused of forgery. Tbe revelation created a tremendous sensation. It is reported that M. Brisson and three of his colleagues favour -the reversion of Dreyfus' sentence. M. Cavaignac threatens to resign, «till believing in Captain Dreyfus' guiit. M. Bois Deffre has resigned. Colonel Henry immediately after confession committed puicide at Montelerin, cutting his throat with a rasor. Count Esterhazy has been cishiered. '
