Lord Salisbury has gone on his annual holiday visit to France. All the other . Ministers except Mr Balfour, First Lord of the Treasury, have left London. Hooley'a case the Court was occupied all day in hearing the disclaimers of Messrs Beall, Ourne (manager of the Bovril Company) and Sir Edward Sullivan and others. Three weeks' army manoeuvres have been commenced on Salisbury Plain. There are 50,000 troops participating in the operations. Intense heat is being experienced in the south of England and in France. Many cases of sunstroke are repoi ted ft London and Paris.
