COMMITTEE.

At the conclusion of the meeting a committee was set up consisting of the Rev.W.AVoollass, Messrs O. Gardner, Alf. Fraser, P. Hennessy and it. S. Thynne to prepare, facts to lay before Ministers. On Tuesday afternoon the Town Clerk sent a telegram to our member, Mr John Stevens asking him to arrange a date when the deputation could interview the Premier and the Minister of Lands. Last night a reply was received as follows " P-egret could not reply earlier. Minister of Lands pleased meet deputation any morning this or next week." . The Town Clerk has replied to this telegram asking that an interview with the Premier be secured, as it is considered imperative that he should be seen.
