The usual quarterly meeting of the Palmerston N. District Lodge of Good Templars meet at Foxton to-morrow (Wednesday), when delegates are expected from all round the district, those from Sanson and Rongotea being expected by the tram in the morning. A meeting of the District Lodge is to be held in the afternoon, and will be presided over by Bro. E. Grove, D.C.T., and a social re-union is to take place in the evening in the Methodist Hall. The members of the W.C.T.U. (local branch), have been invited to attend in the evening. It is expected there will be a large gathering of delegates. Mr J. Walls has the catering in hand.
