AT MANILA.
General Merritt has arrived at Manila with reinforcements for \dmiral Dewey. Admiral Dewey has telegraphed that Aquinaldo, the rebel chief, in boldly defiant, and there are strong indications that it will be necessary to fight the insurgents, but a strong force will be required.
