Presentation to Mr and Mrs Seddon.
There was a large gathering at the Opera House on Saturday night, Wnen presentations Were made to Mr and Mrs Seddon. Mr Saddon was presented with a handsome heavy gold keyless Rotheram watch. The watch bears the following incription : — " Presented to the Eight 'Hon K. 3. Seddon P.C., LL D. Premier of New Zealand, in recognition of the valuable public services rendered to the Liberal and Labour party and the people of the colony." The presentation to Mrs B. J. Seddon consisted of a very handsome silver tea tray ; also a gold hunting Rotheram watch, with long guard of h^avy make. The tray and watch bear the following inscription : — " Presented to Mrs R. J. Seddon by hi'r friends in appreciation of her services in the Liberal cause. Wellington, July 300), 1898 "
