A Fortunate Drop.
At great fires many valuable lives have been saved by people jumping or dropping into blanke's stretched ready to receive them by willing hands. Not only at fires has a drop or fall been the means of saving life ; Mrs Boyes of 162 Dowling- street, Sydney, can vouch for that. She is ever ready to speak of her escape, which was brought about by au accident. In talking to our reporter, she said : " I might have been suffering still if I hadn't had the good fortune to drop on a paragraph in the papers describing a cure of ind ges tion — with which I mys'lf was afflicted for 15 yi--ar8 — by Dr Williams' Pink Pills for Pale People. Though I always hnd indigestion with me, it came on much more violently at limes than was usual. The attacks were at first comparatively light, but as years went on they became mow and more severe. They commenced with a feeling of sickness and a d'siacliimUon to eat, and when I did manago lo eat fomo light food it would lie on my chest in a heavy immovable lump. The sen3aiion was most oppressive and distressing, and sometimes Iwasinsu'h pain that I could hardly sleep, and often I would wake up in the night with a start and not get any more sleep till the morning, and when I did gal out of bed I would feel depressed in spirits, and quite overcome by a feeling of lassitude and weariness. I had violent headrches, and a most awkward g'ddiness when I got up suddenly from a sitting posture ; I also suffered from a continual bad breath and an unpleasant tasie in the mouth. I also had bad bilious turns. I was not as you s^e me now, but was much thinner, with a pale, unhealthy complexion. During all these long years, in addition to the attention of doctors, I tried a large number of 01 her remedies, but none of them did me an atom of good. At length I tried Dr Williams' Pink Pills. The effect was asti nishirg ; after taking them for only a short time the attack I was then suffering from was completely got rid of. I had a sound, healthy appetite, which I hadn't had for y ar.°, and my sleep was no longer disturbed. I took altogether about 12 boxes, and the Pills comp'etely cured me of both indigestion and bi'iousness." A remarkable efficacy in curing diseases arising from an impoverished condition cf the blood or an impairment of the nervous system, such as rheumatism, neuralgia, ■ partial paralys's, locomotor ataxia, St. Vitus' dance, nervous headache, nervous prostration, and the tired feeling therefrom the after-effects of la grippe, influ nza, dengue fever, and severe colds, diseases depending on humors in the blood, such as . scrofula, chronic erysipelas, &c, is possessed by Dr Wi'l ams' Pink Pills for Pale People, which give a healthy glow to pale and sallow complexions. They are a specific for the troubles peculiar to the female system, and in the cise of men they effect a radical cure in all ca.es arising from mental worry, over-work, and excesses of any nature. A trial of this remedy will convince the most sceptical. The genuine Dr Williams' Pink Pills are sold only in wooden boxes, about two inches in length each of which is encircled by a blue warning label. The outside wrapper has the full name, Dr Wil'iams' Pink Pills for Pale People, printed in red. These pill, are not a purgative, and they contain nothing that could iLJure the mot delicate.
